Hotel Riverton

Hotel Riverton is a contemporary independent design hotel located centrally in Gothenburg by the waterfront with 215 rooms, the hotel is fully family-owned and operated since 1991. 

The hotel website needed an update to reflect a recent refurbishment and a pivot in the target audience they wished to appeal to. Repositioning themselves as Gothenburg’s premium design hotel catering mainly to business clientele they wanted to show themselves in the best light possible.

I lead the design of a streamlined, sleek and cutting-edge website to showcase Hotel Riverton’s vast array of room types, meetings rooms, special offers and dining outlets. The hotel’s key assets are all highlighted on the homepage with an ever-present strategic horizontal booking mask available to the user to streamline bookings.

The website makes the most of the hotel’s brand using a dark and luxurious high-end design with pops of the hotel’s gold accent colour for important CTAs and UI elements. An extremely user-friendly comparison tool allows users to quickly analyse the room type most suited to them and to make the site more engaging and interactive. Subtle animations and UI interactions make for a best-in class website to wow their prospective customers.
