A More Social Media

The Irish Human Rights and Equality Commission needed an identity design for an upcoming conference on the use of hate speech online and on social media. A jarring visual treatment was chosen to highlight the damaging effects that negative and disparaging comments can have on people. Obscured and distorted typography create a sense of unease and allude to the trauma of experiencing discrimination online. The identity was rolled out across a variety of conference materials.
